Robert G. Dolton: Founder and Managing Partner

Rob Dolton grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California. By the time he graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with Honors, Rob had decided he wanted to make his home in Oregon.

A lifelong passion for fishing and the outdoors led Rob to Willamette University, College of Law, in Salem, Oregon. After graduating and passing the Oregon State Bar in 1981, Rob embarked on a career dedicated to achieving justice for folks needing help getting a fair recovery for their injuries.

Starting out, Rob shared space with small plaintiff’s law firms, Francesconi & Cash and later Haugh & Foote. In those days Rob handled workers compensation claims on behalf of injured workers against big insurance companies. It was this work that allowed Rob to gain an understanding of the medical side of traumatically induced injuries.

Today, Rob’s Clackamas law practice is limited to helping victims of car accidents achieve fair payment for their injuries from automobile insurance companies and assisting other attorneys in resolving personal injury disputes as an arbitrator and mediator.

In his spare time Rob fishes, crabs and clams throughout the Northwest and Canada. Rob enjoys spending time outdoors with his sons, grandchildren and fishing buddies. The law office sponsors Outdoor GPS, a television show on the Comcast Sports network. Rob gets a kick out of being, The Fishing Lawyer.
